Ieva Tatarsky was born in Riga, Latvia during World War Two. After several years as a refugee, at the age of ten her family emigrated to the United States. She graduated from New York City's High School of Music and Art and from the Cooper Union School of Art. Ieva's keen eye for color was further sharpened when she worked separating color in art pieces for greeting cards in NYC before she transplanted to Maine thirty years ago. Her skills elevated Liberty Graphics to a new level of exactness in our reproduction of nature graphics.
