Chris Van Dusen is a native Mainer who grew up under the influence of the meticulous detail in the illustrations of Dr. Seuss and Robert McCloskey. Initially working as a freelance illustrator, Chris achieved considerable success with his first original children's book in 2000 and since then has made a career writing and illustration his own children's books.
